Import the inventory spreadsheet you are keeping today — Excel, CSV or a Google Sheet. Match the columns once, and every device, room and serial number is in.
Walk the halls
Open Scan on your phone, pick the room, and point it at the barcode. No barcode? Photograph the label and the asset tag, serial number and model are read off it for you to confirm.
Keep it current, together
Invite the people who touch devices. Teachers add and update the devices in their own rooms, admins do everything, and anyone who only needs to look gets view-only. Export the list to CSV whenever someone asks.

- Who is it for?
- The person a school points at when a device goes missing: the technology coordinator, the SPOC, the AP who inherited the spreadsheet. It is built for public schools with buildings, floors and rooms — and thousands of devices.
- What does it cost?
- Your school's first 30 days are free, with no card asked for. After that it is $199 per school per year — not per device, not per user. If you do not continue, your inventory stays where it is and you can still read it and export it; you just cannot make changes.
- Where does our data live?
- In a database where every school’s records are walled off from every other school’s at the database level, not just in the app. Your inventory is not sent anywhere else, with one exception you control: a label photo you choose to scan is sent to Anthropic’s AI to read the text off it, and nothing else.
- Does it track students?
- No. There is no student roster in SchoolStock and no screen to enter one. It tracks devices, rooms and the staff who manage them.
- Who is behind it?
- It is built by a working NYC public-school educator who kept the inventory in a spreadsheet nobody trusted. It is a product of Alfred Digital Education.
